I don’t want to be stupid. I don’t want my philosophies on life, religion, and politics to be fallacious. 

Discussed my philosophy of life with [my friend] recently… I think there isn’t a point to life, we don’t have a reward if we do well in this life, there isn’t a divine hand leading us. All we have is the here and now. But that doesn’t mean it has to be cold and meaningless. Your loved ones, your pets, things you enjoy, your work, etc. all bring meaning to your life. I think your life is what you want it to be. Do what makes you happy, love who you want, maybe try to help some people and animals along the way… that’s my life philosophy. Accounting and animals make me happy. I’m working hard to get my degree so I can get a job I enjoy. I don’t have that much money now but I still donate to animal shelters and try to help my friends when they need it. I want to get a better job so I can do even more to help. My goal in life is to have an animal sanctuary at my house. Maybe that is silly or stupid but that is my life philosophy in action.

Everyone knows I’m atheist and anti-theist. I don’t think there is sufficient evidence for a god. However, even if there was, I would believe but not worship it. I think religion poisons people. I think our world would be better off without religion. I don’t, however, think religion should be banned or forcibly taken away from people. To have a religion, or not, is your right.

I think I’m overall an idiot when it comes to politics but my philosophy is this: I think we’ve fucked ourselves with what we’ve let our government and political system become. I don’t know if another system would be better but I think the foundation of ours is a good one. I want the government to take care of its people but it usually doesn’t. I care a lot about human rights. Individual rights, women’s rights, LGBT rights, etc. I don’t think individual rights should be taken away. I think women deserve the same rights as men and I think their body is their right. I think LGBT people deserve the same rights as anyone else. I think the fact that women and LGBT have to still fight for basic rights is a fucking joke. I don’t belong to a political party. I don’t think a political party should define you or what you believe. I also think animals are very important but I think some groups are sometimes doing more harm than good.

That is what I think but I’m not that smart when it comes to these things and what I think is probably considered incorrect or fallacious but these are the philosophies by which I live.

I want one.

Sometimes our dog doesn’t want to take her pills. So I pretend like I’m going to eat them and then she takes them from me as fast as she can. She takes the pills and eats them even though she doesn’t want to just so I won’t get them. I thought this was kind of silly. Then I thought that sometimes I take food I don’t feel like eating just so my sister won’t get it. Like, better me than her. :x We’re all so silly.

It’s been two years since he’s been gone and I still miss him terribly. I wish he was here right now to bring me comfort and love. :(
